A total of 7 people, including the pilot, five passengers and an infant, lost their lives in the accident
Around 5 am, the helicopter of Aryan Aviation took off from Kedarnath helipad, then suddenly the signal disappeared.
The helicopter was carrying six people from Kedarnath to Guptkashi and crashed near Gaurikund in Rudraprayag on the way.
At the time of the accident, the weather in the valley had suddenly deteriorated, the pilot was trying to take the helicopter out of the valley but was unsuccessful
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief over the accident, SDRF and rescue team are on the spot, rescue work is going on.
On June 7, another helicopter crashed in the same area, but only the pilot suffered minor injuries, there were no major casualties.
